Glynneath Golf Club

Congratulations to our 1st Team squad, captained by Darryl Jones, who successfully navigated their way through the Welsh Team Championship preliminary rounds to reach the Finals which will be held at Borth & Ynyslas on 13th-15th August. Glynneath beat Glynhir 5-0 in Round 1 and then followed that up with a 3-2 victory against Trefloyne. The team will now take its place within the group of 32 finalists and the Club wishes them every success at Borth & Ynyslas.

The team have arranged an open competition for Sunday 1st August and the proceeds will assist with covering the costs of sending the boys to the Finals. Tee times are available from 8:00am until 3:00pm and, although many of the places are already taken, there are still some remaining. Anyone interested in entering can do so by contacting Glyn Williams or, alternatively, contact the Pro Shop on 01639 720452.
